Our 25-year
workmanship guarantee.

Every job Detail Solar installs is backed by a 25-year workmanship guarantee. That guarantee covers the quality and safety of our own installation work (mounting, roof penetrations and flashing, wiring, and labor) for 25 years from the date of install.

It's important to understand what workmanship covers, and what it doesn't. Our guarantee is separate from the manufacturer equipment warranties that come with your panels, inverters, and batteries. Those are issued directly by the equipment makers (brands like Enphase, SolarEdge, SMA, LG, Panasonic, Tesla, and Qcells) and cover defects in the equipment itself. Our workmanship guarantee covers the job we did putting that equipment on your roof and wiring it into your home or business.

Because every installation is performed by our own in-house, NABCEP-certified crew (no subcontractors), there's one team accountable for the work from day one through year 25.

Roof Care

We take roof penetrations
seriously.

Every solar mount penetrates your roof. We flash and seal every mounting point as part of our standard install process, and that care is part of what our workmanship guarantee stands behind: if a mounting point we installed causes a problem, it's on us to fix it.

If Something Goes Wrong

Call or email us and describe the issue. We'll schedule an inspection, determine whether it falls under our workmanship guarantee or a manufacturer's equipment warranty, and get it fixed, coordinating directly with the manufacturer on your behalf if it's an equipment issue.
